Tweens UNITE! If you haven’t seen Justin Bieber bowl yet. Check it out. Luda is in the song but looks VERY awkward in the video. And YES…. that is Drake you see in the bowling ally. And what is up with the move in the picture above. I’m not hating. The kid has skills. But this just cracks me up!

Did the Grammys Over Censor?

Did you see the Grammy performance featuring Lil Wayne, Eminem, Drake and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker on Sunday night? If so, then you know that CBS edited a lot of it. It almost felt like there was more silence than audio. But here’s the funny thing: There was almost no swearing whatsoever during that performance. The songs they were singing . . . “Drop the World” and “Forever” . . . are filled with profanity. But on the Grammy stage, the guys were skipping all the bad words themselves. Here’s a 35-second clip of the performance with the edits.

Here’s the 40-second clip of the Lil Wayne, Eminem, and Drake performance without the edits. It’s pretty clear that CBS didn’t need to edit anything out. Read along with the transcript below and see why they over censored.

0:41 — “Trying to get in where I fit i, no room for a nigga / but soon for a nigga / it be on, muthafucka / cause all the bullshit / it made me strong, muthafucka.”

0:50 — “And I’ma pick the world up and I’ma drop it on your fucking head.”

1:04 — “I could die now, rebirth muthafucker/ Hop up in my spaceship and leave earth, muthafucker / I’m gone.”

1:44 — “And I came up from behind and pretty much snuck up and butt-fucked this game up.”

1:53 – “Day that I leave it but I swear one way or another I’ma make these fucking haters believe it.”

2:42 – “So I don’t plan on stopping at all / I want this shit forever, man.” (These chorus bleeps were particularly amusing.)

2:55 — “And I ain’t even planning to call / I want this shit forever, man.”

4:55 — “So I don’t plan on stopping at all / I want this shit forever, man.”

5:30 — “You can’t put it out once we light it / this shit is exactly what the fuck I’m talking about when we riot.”

5:40 — “Out of our mouths now rewind that / payback, muthafucka for the way you doubted me.”

5:54 — “I want this shit forever, man.

A spokesman for CBS, however, said the rappers were free to perform within a certain parameter that each entertainer had to abide by. CBS’ Chris Ender praised the MCs’ showmanship but said the explicit material made it difficult to broadcast without some degree of censoring.

“It was a rousing musical performance, but words were edited from the live telecast that didn’t meet our broadcast standards,” Ender explained, according to The Associated Press. “We have great respect for artists’ creative freedom, but there are certain things you can’t say, or sing, on television.”
